Motivation Behind Our Design Philosophy of Simplicity
It all started with our obsession with why.
Why some websites are such a joy to use. Why some websites make us jump through hoops to make a purchase or get the information we seek.
And that is how we decided to approach web design from the angle of simplicity.

Inspiration Behind Our Name Studio Kaya
The epiphany came during a breakfast of kaya toast. Kaya is a luxurious creamy spread that is rich in flavours and fragrant in aroma. Kaya toast breakfast is a happy meal which gives many people in Singapore a great start to the day.
Kaya looks deceptively simple to make as it requires only a few, simple ingredients yet it is not easy. Simplicity is the most complex form to produce. It requires skills and good sense of observation and taste. This is very much similar to creating simplicity-focused web design.
To us, Kaya symbolises simplicity and richness in joy-filled experiences. And that is how we named our website design business Studio Kaya.
