Motivation Behind Our Design Philosophy
It all started with our observation of why some websites are such a joy to use and why some frustrate us. Why do some businesses, have gorgeous-looking websites but make us jump through hoops to get information or to make a purchase? Why can’t websites be simple, easy to use, and uncluttered yet still be aesthetically pleasing?
With these observations in mind, we decided to approach web design from the angle of simplicity. We believe in having a razor-sharp focus on simplicity to deliver the results that businesses desire and the experiences that users expect to have. Simplicity became our web design philosophy and also became part of our core values.
How We Named Our Web Design Company
While brainstorming for business names, the epiphany came during a breakfast of kaya butter toast. Kaya is made with simple and few ingredients. Yet it is rich in flavour and really can elevate the whole butter and toast experience. This very popular kaya butter toast breakfast in Singapore always makes people happy. Kaya symbolises simplicity and richness in happy experiences. And that is how we named our website design business Studio Kaya.
